The Joto is one of our classic frame styles that recall the timeless feel of the 1960s and 1970s. These styles are popular in Japan, and feature metal details in the nose bridge and temples.

Our Carbon colored lens was created in collaboration with professional golfers. This lens provides a natural color base with added contrast, making it easier to accurately judge distance. Have a look at our lens guide.

    Wellington Frame

The silhouette of this classic style was first released all the way back in the 1950s. Since then it had multiple periods of resurgence, in the 80s, late 00s, and again today, making it a truly timeless style.

The Wellington has revolutionized the world of sunglass fashion forever. Some of them are true icons, like the Ray-Ban Wayfarer, or the Oakley Frogskins.

    Premium lenses

All Shinzo Tamura frames feature premium polarized TALEX lenses, handmade in Osaka, Japan. The filter is designed to block 99% harmful UV rays - helping you keep your eyes healthy and see clearer.

    Perfect fit

The non-slip nose-pads are made from skin friendly elastomer, providing the perfect fit. Flexible titanium arms relief pressure, and give Shinzo Tamura frames a distinct and classic style.

    Light & durable

Shinzo Tamura frames are perfectly balanced, ultra light, and made from non-aging nylon material, perfect for an active lifestyle. The double-molded frames are flexible, extremely durable, and do not deform.

The hinges are molded into the frame itself and benefit from the flexible and durable properties of the nylon material.

The carbon lens is advertised as a golf specific lens, but I got these because I wanted a non colored lens that is not just grey. And I love these. They have a very warm feel to them. The polarization is really high quality. No distortion, no coloration. They have an incredible clarity to them.
So golf or not, I recommend them for everyday wear just as much as for they looks. Really nice product!

Found these via an ad on Insta. I don’t like to just impulse buy here, but I was intrigued by the golf specific lenses. These really work well for golf, however, I also wear them cycling now. Mainly because of the really good lens quality. They are very crisp and clear, and really help me focus.
Can recommend these sunglasses for golf especially, but really, wear them whenever. They won’t disappoint you.

Great fitting sunglasses! I have what the internet calls an “Asian face”. Not a nice term, but used to describe the problem with finding well fitting sunglasses from western brands. Some have now started to make specific sizes for Asians, but I tend to just trust an Asian brand here.
These popped up searching for “Asian fit” on Google and typically you get all the big brands, but here was a Japanese brand in the mix too. I ended up buy-in the golf lenses, not because I golf much (I do actually), but because the description of the lens felt right, and I loved the classic look of the tortoise shell finish.
    I can really recommend these!
